Rabbi Shneor Fagan grew up in Nes Tziona, Israel. His parents and 12 siblings were emissaries in Nes Tziona and that is where Rabbi Shneor learned his welcoming attitude and love towards each jew. He spent his teenage years studying in Israel and concluded his Rabbinical studies at the Central Chabad Yeshiva in New York.

As a Rabbinic intern, he led Jewish community events for Israelis around the world including Thailand, Peru, Vilna, Frankfurt, Guatemala, and the United States.

Since he was a child, he dreamed of one day establishing a Chabad Center to fulfill the mandate of the Lubavitcher Rebbe of doing our part to change the world for the better and accept every Jew unconditionally. He married Chanie in New York in 2009 and has since continued to be involved in outreach in many Chabad Israeli Centers in NY.

Mrs. Chanie Fagan was born in Queens, NY, and spent her formative years in Crown Heights, NY. She studied at the Bnos Menachem elementary and high school and graduated with honors in 2007. She completed a year of advanced Judaic studies in Tzfas, Israel, and spent her summers leading large day camps in NY & NJ.

As Co-director of the Chabad Israeli center, Chanie is looking forward to directing Chabad’s programs for women and also coordinating the many children’s programs that Chabad offers for the Israeli community.

They are excited for the unique opportunity they have to serve their community in Phoenix.

The Fagans have 3 young children: Mendel, 12, Chaya Esther, 3, & Avremel, 1 and are looking forward to sharing the rest of their lives with their new family in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Fagans feel blessed to serve the Israeli community of Phoenix and are looking forward each and every day they will have to do their part in creating a space where every Jew is truly family.
